With the arrival of 2025, beauty enthusiasts are setting new goals, and who better to share their resolutions than industry experts? We spoke with four talented make-up artists to discover their beauty aspirations, must-have products, and the trends they’re excited about this year. From skin-focused routines to multi-functional beauty products, here’s a look at what these professionals have in mind for the year ahead.
Aiza Qureshi
“For me, 2025 is all about embracing a more natural look for everyday wear. With the abundance of full-coverage products out there, I’m opting for lighter alternatives like tinted moisturizers, sheer concealers, lip and cheek tints, and nourishing lip oils. Skin health plays a crucial role in boosting confidence, which allows me to feel comfortable wearing less make-up. A solid skincare routine – morning and night – is essential. I also think it’s time to move away from the trend of overly bold cut creases unless they’re soft and subtle. Additionally, let’s stop jumping on every viral product bandwagon; not every product suits every skin type, and it’s vital to stick to what works for you.”

Aiza’s must-have products for 2025 include the Simihaze Beauty Skin Suede Melting Bronze Balm, which effortlessly melts into the skin, and the Glossier Cloud Paint in Spark, a radiant red that works wonders on both cheeks and lips. The Sublime Perfection Concealer Brush by Pat McGrath Labs is another favourite, offering precision for hard-to-reach areas, while MAC’s Lip Liner in Root For Me! gives a stunning deep cherry red finish.
Looking ahead, Aiza is excited about multi-purpose products like Nudestix Nudie Matte Blush in Sunkissed Pink for bronzing, and she’s curious to try the new line of make-up from Rhode, with versatile multi-sticks for eyes, cheeks, and lips.
Sarah Sequeira

For Sarah, 2025 is all about consistency in skincare. While keeping things simple with cleansing, hydration, and barrier repair, she’s also interested in integrating more advanced devices like the Dr Dennis Gross LED Mask into her routine. Sarah also believes it’s time to move away from excessively bright under-eye concealers, opting instead for a light eye brightener for a more natural, radiant finish.
Her go-to products for the year ahead include Saie Beauty’s Glowy Super Gel for a radiant primer, Charlotte Tilbury’s Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint for a natural, glowing base, and Huda Beauty’s Faux Filter Corrector, which she swears by for its ability to cover imperfections without caking.
In 2025, Sarah looks forward to experimenting with the blurred-out lip trend, which she describes as effortlessly chic and elegant.
Iman Khayyat

Iman’s resolution for the new year is simple: focus on skincare to achieve glowing, healthy skin that requires minimal make-up. She’s also saying goodbye to the laminated brow trend, favoring softer, more natural brows for a fresher look.
Iman’s top products include Hourglass Vanish Concealer for flawless under-eyes, Lys Contour Stick for sun-kissed warmth, and Refy’s Blush Lipliner, which creates a perfect nude-pink lip. YSL’s Brown Mascara is her secret weapon for making brown eyes pop.
Looking forward to 2025, Iman plans to experiment with bolder lip shades and expand her horizons beyond her usual pinky nude.
Nina Ubhi

Nina is prioritizing skin health in 2025, with a focus on creating a radiant base through skincare rather than layering on heavy make-up. She’s committed to incorporating regular gua sha massages, at-home red light therapy, and a simplified skincare regimen. She’s also excited about moving away from heavy contouring and embracing soft sculpting techniques like underpainting, which enhances natural contours.
Key products in Nina’s kit include Chanel’s Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch, which gives fresh, dewy skin with a natural finish, and MILK Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint Blush in Spritz, which provides a natural flush of color. She’s also obsessed with Hourglass Cosmetics’ Unlocked Mascara for natural lash extension effects and Augustinus Bader Retinol Serum for smooth, irritation-free skin.
Nina is excited about the rise of ‘skinimalism’ and hybrid skincare-make-up products that combine the benefits of both in one formula, creating a modern, fresh look for 2025.
